10:30 AM – 11:15 AM – Live Music – Erica James

Erica James is coming to shake up the stage at this year’s festival. You’re going to want to see this show!

Erica has been playing violin since the age of 10 learning from such artists as Bobby Flores, a 2002 Grammy Award winning musician and composer. She has also opened for such greats as Michael Martin Murphy who has written and performed hits such as; Wildfire, Carolina in the Pines and What’s Forever For. and The Platters who have earned 25 number 1 hits since the 50′s. Her undying passion to master the violin and to play outside the traditional realm of the violin has gained her a large national following in various genres of music. Erica has been touring regionally and nationally for about the last 5 years performing with various bands and solo acts and also as a duo with her father James who plays acoustic guitar.

Erica says; “Playing music professionally and touring has given me a great opportunity to spend time with my dad. Playing the violin has allowed me to express myself in ways that words cannot. Having the ability to play with groups and musicians that I have admired from a young age has been a dream come true. It is the special blessings that have been given to me by my mother, “Tonda”, my adopted grandparents, “Pops and Grandma Jean Osburn”, and my Lord Jesus that I have been able to achieve what I have to this point in my life. God is so awesome!”

Erica continues to play locally with her dad, James, and will tour occassionally.
